Between the old city and the coast
The address sits on the hinge between two versions of Split. Turn west and the streets narrow into the Roman core of Diocletian's Palace, roughly 450 metres away. Turn south and the ground falls away toward Bačvice Beach, around 550 metres downhill, where locals swim well past the end of the season.
The train station is about 550 metres away and the bus station roughly 650 metres, which makes arriving, leaving, and day-tripping along the coast simple - often without needing a car at all.
